On inspection the alarm spring was missing, so I fabricated one from a bit of wire and fixed that. So I changed the battery but now there was no sound. The battery was shot when it arrived, a push of the light button reset the watch.
I bought this one because it looked in good condition and was said to be working. I thought though how much more convenient it would be if a watch on the wrist could measure it and good old Casio used to make one in their gadget heavy days. My blood pressure became elevated as I aged and I am now in my seventies, so I need to keep an eye on it and I have a blood pressure machine at home. Here is an interesting watch, the Casio BP-100.
